David retired in 2014 as an Associate Director of an insurance broker where he had responsibility for the management of horse and pony delegated insurance schemes. His earlier career was in banking, followed by equestrian livery and he has previously owned and ridden horses.

David is a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Farriers where he continues his passion for all matters horse. He lives in East Anglia and joined the Redwings Board in 2017.

David's favourite Redwings resident: It has to be Guy the mule at Redwings Caldecott. He came in with terrible laminitis in 2015 having been rescued overweight and with very overgrown feet. He needed immediate treatment and his owner was given a caution.
