Senior Communications Officer

I have worked at Redwings since 2017 but I’ve been a Redwings supporter for much longer - my mum adopted Redwings Adoption Star Rocky for me for my fifth birthday!

My role sits within the Communications team and is really varied, and I love that! I work on press releases, and edit our supporter newsletter. I also produce a really wide variety of digital assets and content that we use across all platforms to show the phenomenal work Redwings does. 

A week in my role can see me talking about Redwings on the radio, taking photos of our beautiful residents, writing stories about incredible rescue to rehoming transformations - or even presenting our podcast series 'Sounds of the Sanctuary'. There's always something to keep me busy, and I love spending time with teams across Redwings to find the next stories to share with our supporters. 

Redwings resident soft spot: I’m too much of a softie and love them all! However, if I had to pick one it would be Iris the donkey at Redwings Aylsham. She is such a friendly and cheeky lady – and always so keen to ‘help’ me with my photography and get as close to the camera as possible!
