Tresco's Story

Tresco is a sweet natured mare looking for a home as a non-ridden companion. She is a good girl to catch, lead and groom but she can be a little excitable at times, so she does require an experienced Guardian.

Tresco thrives with a routine, and we think she could enjoy doing groundwork, or being taken out of walks in her new home - as she likes having things to do and seeing the world!

She loves attention, as well as being groomed, and has even been known to give us gentle nudges to demand more!

She has been turned out with mares and geldings with us and although she is not currently at the top of the pecking order, she has been known to be dominant in the past so would require gradual integration with her new herd mates.

Tresco arrived at Redwings in 2021, after a large welfare operation in South Wales involving a group of mares and foals.
