Otis's Story

Otis is a handsome pony who is loving and affectionate, but has not taken to being backed and ridden.

He is looking for a quiet home as a non ridden companion where he can live out in company.

Otis is good to catch and generally good to lead but if the environment is too busy, Otis can become unsettled and will jog when being led. He takes confidence from his handler and is a rewarding pony with a lot to offer.

He is good to handle and loves cuddles and will stand to be groomed for hours. He is good for the farrier but needs slow and calm leg handling and a daily routine for picking out his feet. Otis is good to be wormed and for dental checks.

Otis does not like being stabled and becomes stressed, and will rear at the door. Therefore he needs to be out 24/7 in company.

Otis does suffer from mild sweet itch but this has been managed in the current home without any issues.

Otis is looking for a quiet home with an experienced Guardian who will give him time, patience and understanding, and where he can live out.
