Skittle's Story

Skittles is a sweet but sensitive little mare looking for a home as a non ridden companion. She is good to catch, lead and groom. She is happy to live out or come into the stable overnight. She has stayed on her own for short periods of time in the stable but this would need to be introduced gradually in a new home. She can be turned out with either mares or geldings but she does tend to be the boss and can be dominant at times. Skittles is good with children but needs experienced and respectful handling so would not be suitable around very young children.

Like many native ponies of her size, Skittles can be prone to weight gain, and therefore may need her weight monitored and grazing restricted if necessary.

Skittles is looking for a caring home where she can enjoy being given the attention she deserves.
