Gardener
“Do you nurture a garden, or does a garden nurture you?”
Maybe you are new to gardening. Maybe you are a horticultural genius. Maybe you have green fingers, or maybe you would like to find their true colour.
As a Volunteer Gardener at Redwings Aylsham Visitors Centre you will have time to ponder all manner of things, whilst tending our plants. At Redwings Visitor Centres, we have Memorial Gardens and other areas of reflection for our visitors. They deserve care and attention, but our sites are large. You could be clipping back hedging around signage, or pathways one day, weeding a container the next, and always taking the time to interact with our visitors about their passion and ours: horses of course!
With hours to suit you, this could be a relaxing hobby for you, whilst having a massively positive impact on our supporter experience. As a charity funded by public donation, this is so important for us. All you need is a bit of free time, and a good attitude. We can decide ‘plant’ or ‘weed’ between us if necessary.
If you can offer us some of your precious time, the Visitor Centre Team would welcome you and support your training to help us make the experience for our visitors really special.
If you would like to use your volunteering hours to support us at Redwings, please download the application form and return it to volunteering@redwings.co.uk or fill in the form below and submit.
