We’re delighted that three of our visitor centres have been awarded with TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence for 2018!
Redwings Aylsham based north of Norwich and Redwings Caldecott near Great Yarmouth, both in Norfolk, and Redwings Oxhill in Warwickshire have each received the accolade.
To be awarded a certificate, an attraction has to receive a consistently high number of reviews on the travel website rated as either “Very Good” or “Excellent”.
Alison Lanchester, Head of Fundraising, said: “Everyone at our visitor centres works very hard to take care of our rescued residents, but we’re equally passionate about ensuring everyone who crosses our doors enjoys a fantastic day out too so we’re thrilled to receive this acknowledgement.
“Our centres provide a wonderful opportunity to enjoy peaceful paddocks walks where you can meet our rescued residents nose-to-nose and learn more about their stories – and, best of all, entry is free! So if you have an interest in horses or animals, or are simply looking for a day out for the whole family, why not pop into your nearest visitor centre?”
Redwings Caldecott’s certificate follows the visitor centre picking up two awards at the Great Yarmouth Tourism and Business Awards in March for best marketing campaign and best working team for the promotion and delivery of activities for visitors, in particular our popular Summer Club for children.
All of our visitor centres are open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays), 10am to 4pm. Entry and parking are free, and dogs on leads are welcome.
