Our first episode introduces our Nights team and all they do to keep our horses safe after the sun goes down.
Welcome back to Sounds of the Sanctuary! We’re now in the third series of our very own podcast which has had over 6,500 downloads!
Just in time for ‘spooky season', in this brand-new episode join us to discover what happens at Redwings after dark!
We have a dedicated Nights team at Redwings who are responsible for the care of our equines around the clock, checking they are happy and healthy and delivering feed and medication to those who need it.
Meet Nights Team Leader Sarah and join her during the night time check at the Horse Hospital, meeting residents Frieda and Cooper, as well as their (noisy!) neighbours Rodney and Ruby the donkeys - all without even needing a torch, or leaving the comfort of home!
Plus, hear how the team are preparing for Bonfire Night, and how we keep our residents safe during fireworks season, ahead of our Field Notes special released this Wednesday (1st November).

“Since I came here, my wellbeing, sort of my mental health, is so much better. I remember when I came for my interview, when I came through the main gates and was just driving down that driveway, and you've got the equines on either side, and they're all happy munching. It's like you just release and I find that when I come in to start work at night now.”
Nights Team Leader, Sarah
