Diary of a trainee runner

What Dennis did: Dennis (pictured above) is my favourite four-legged running buddy by the way – and my inspiration!

Running shoes; tick. Highly attractive hi-vis top; tick (safety first peeps!). Slight fear and trepidation; big tick. All for the love of horses!

Fear and trepidation of setting off and embarking on training for the British 10k London run in July soon abated with the discovery of Dennis. How had this stunning chesnut thoroughbred cross escaped my attention after 12 years of working for Redwings? Well, I suppose with 1,500 residents, I can’t possibly have met them all!

Dennis is on my running route at our Hapton headquarters and he most definitely helps to keep me going. See you next week Dennis!
