Rosie is a #RedwingsAngel!

Young supporter Rosie Knight, from Leamington Spa in Warwickshire, has raised £308 for Redwings by holding a garden sale at her home near our Oxhill Visitor Centre.

Seven year-old Rosie, who has adopted miniature Shetland Wensley, is a member of our Mini Reds club and worked with her friends to make and gather items for the sale, including books, toys and cakes. Rosie even set up her own mini café to ensure her visitors were refreshed!

We were only too happy to support Rosie’s efforts by supplying bunting and donation boxes, to make sure that her party went with a swing!

Rosie said: “I had the idea to raise money for Redwings because I love loads of animals including horses and ponies, and I really enjoy visiting Redwings. I’d like to say thank you to everyone who helped and came, and also people who made cakes for it!”

The £308 that Rosie has raised will help us care for one of our residents at Redwings Oxhill for a whole month, and everyone at Redwings would like to say well done to Rosie for being a #RedwingsAngel!
