Love horses? You'll love Redwings.

Welcome to Redwings Horse Sanctuary, the UK’s largest horse welfare charity, where everything we do is for the love of the horse.

Every day, over 1,300 rescued horses and donkeys wake up safe, warm, and cared for – all because of Redwings, and people like you.

As the UK’s largest horse welfare charity, we believe every horse, pony, donkey and mule deserves a life free from fear, neglect, and suffering. That’s why we give them a second chance – from urgent rescues to lifelong sanctuary care.

Redwings is 100% funded by donations. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, another 700 are now living their best lives in loving guardian homes. That means every life we save starts with you.

I was left for dead.

But thanks to supporters like you, Redwings were ready to rescue me. The next horse might not be so lucky. Help make their rescue possible by donating today.

Keep Horses In Mind

Sign our petition!

Redwings is asking the government to reduce the maximum noise level for fireworks from 120 decibels to 90 decibels. We believe this would reduce many of the harms fireworks can cause while still allowing displays to be enjoyed.

If you are a British citizen or UK resident, please sign the petition then share it as widely as you can. Your support makes a BIG difference and will help the move towards less suffering and fewer lives lost because of fireworks. Thank you!
