Horses of West Meadows: Statement

Following reports of a collapsed horse at the West Meadows site in Ipswich, a Redwings field officer attended the site today (16^th February). The officer conducted a search of the site but did not find any collapsed horses.

This visit followed a similar visit by an RSPCA officer yesterday (15^th February) who also did not discover any collapsed horses. They checked those horses on site who are currently under vet care and were satisfied with their findings.

If anyone witnesses a collapsed horse or an animal in distress, please treat this as an emergency and contact the RSPCA’s 24-hour line on 0300 1234 999 without delay.
